USPI Doctors United Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. Located in PASADENA, TX, we have 8 OR rooms and 4 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Colon & Rectal, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Neurological, Orthopedic, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Podiatry, General, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.

Required Skills:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state. CPR required; advanced life support certification required.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
